A little about me...
Growing up I never really knew what I wanted to do with my life. I found very little interest in school because I felt most things I would learn would never be used again.
After high school I found a passion for getting out of my comfort zone, which first manifested as a knack for traveling. Throughout my early 20s I did everything from climbing Kilimanjaro to working as a commercial salmon fisherman in Alaska. Then I discovered entrepreneurship as a way out of my comfort zone.
I have since gone on to start two companies. Novus, an international brand of lighting products; and Enspire, a network for job shadowing opportunities.
A little about my job...
My days vary quite frequently but generally I am in charge of most company outreach and website design. This can be anything from cold calls and Linkedin outreach to networking and nurturing business relationships.
What will this job shadowing experience look like?
This experience can either be virtual or in person if you reside in the Raleigh-Durham area and will be no more than 2 hours. I will walk you through the day to day activities of running a start up and may even let you sit in on a few meetings if you'd like!
